Pizza Delivery Services Ltd, Trading as Pizza Hut wanted to provide their customers alternative medium their stores . Already successful with phone and online, SMS seemed a perfect alternative for those who were unable to get online at a give point nor knew the telephone number to their local store. However it needed to be simple, easy to use and work with the current IT infrastructure in stores.

"Pizza Hut SMS callbacks" was specially developed to meet all of the clients requirements, it simple, cheap and works with the current IT infrastructure. A customer wanting to order a pizza and is not online nor has the phone number for their local store can simple send a text message. The message starts with the keyword “Pizza” followed by their postcode, they send it to a 5 digit short code number and pizza Hut SMS Callbacks does the rest.

It first locates the local store serving the customers area and calls the store, whilst sending a marketing message to the customer with offers etc.. When the store answers the phone an IVR message tells the sales assistant their is an SMS customer awaiting an SMS Callback and press 1 to accept the request. It then call back the customer and connects the calls. Finally it sends a thank you message to the customer.

All SMS stats and data are made available to the business via our control panel CP12.

Unity101 Community Radio, Cultural Media Enterprise Ltd

Unity101 a community radio station based in Southampton, were looking a cheap solution integrate with their playout manager to automatically handle and play requests received via SMS.
